The Legend Continues into the New Millennium

A salute to 70 Years of Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop

Hosted by Nicolosi, Mallory Lewis & Lamb Chop

Ever spend an evening relaxing at home watching Inside the Actor’s Studio?  You feel like you are catching up with old friends.  This Live Show, lovingly created by Shari’s daughter Mallory Lewis and Nicolosi provides audiences of every age group and demographic with the opportunity to peer behind the woolen curtain and hang out once again with their BFF from childhood… Lamb Chop!

Born on The Captain Kangaroo Show, Lamb Chop’s lauded and ‘lustrious career has spanned some 7 decades. She ushered in the dawn of network television and yet she’s somehow still only 6 years old (in Lamb Years).

Yes, it’s Lamb Chop . . .and she’s b—a-a-a-k.

At the end of the last century, Mallory inherited the mantel (or the Lamb) from the Master herself. Since that moment in time Mally has been the custodian of the brilliant light of  Lamb Chop’s legacy in the new millennium.

Ergo, Lamb Chop 2.0 and she’s ready for her close-up.

Spend an enchanting evening with the Artist, Nicolosi, who has appeared frequently over the past decade on Entertainment Tonight, engaging celebrities in conversation on the red carpet of events  such as The Emmy Awards, Golden Globes, Grammys, Academy Awards, Cannes Film Festival, etc.  Nicolosi has created his signature style of portraiture of a laundry list of Glitterati in Tinsel Town, including Madonna, Ashten Kutcher, Opera, Meryl Streep, Eddie Murphy, Placido Domingo, Ellen Degeneres, Pulitzer prize winning author Harper Lee, HRH, Prince Charles of England, the Prince of Whales, her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordon, and Mrs. Frank Sinatra.

Audiences are mesmerized as Nicolosi peels back the layers of the onion and LC reveals 7 decades of experiences while traveling around the Globe with Shari Lewis. Nicolosi addresses the age old question: is her fleece really as white as snow?

Nicolosi will lead Lamb Chop on a sentimental journey through time and everywhere that Nicolsoi goes, the Lamb is sure to go.

Mally and Lamb Chop share private never before seen videos of Shari over the decades, including a touching homage to Shari,  which was created for Shari’s memorial , previously only shared with her  family and closest friends.

The audience is invited to “grill the Chop” during the QandA open mike and after the show encouraged to savor a private word or two with  Lamb Chop, Mally and Nicolosi, take pictures, and share the spot light with the Artist and the iconic little Lamb we love!

At the end of every performance audiences rave, “Lamb Chop, Well Done”, sans mint jelly!

 Artist Bio:

Celebrity Pop Artist Nicolosi has become a household around the world in today’s most revered Contemporary Art circles by creating his signature Pop Art portraits of today’s top luminaries in the Entertainment, Sports, Political, and Corporate arenas. Dr. Nicolosi has been painting virtually his entire life and has enjoyed practicing dentistry in the greater Chicago area for the last three decades. He attended the University of Iowa. During his professional career as a dentist, he has continued to paint and exhibit his artwork globally.

Nicolosi took “his cue” from Legendary Pop Artist, Andy Warhol. Nicolosi’s art journey first garnered National Media attention when one of his signature “Pop-Art Portraits” caught the eye of America‘s favorite Golden Girl, Rue McClanahan and then legendary actress Patricia Neal. Shortly thereafter,Dr. Eileen Guggenheim personally chose Nicolosi’s artwork to be in the New York Academy of Arts, and included Nicolosi on Guggenheim’s list of the Top One Hundred of the Artists in the United States. The New York Academy of Arts was started by Dr. Guggenheim and Andy Warhol in 1982. Thus began the Nicolosi/Warhol comparison.

In 2006, Nicolosi’s Artwork was catapulted onto the World Stage after being featured on Entertainment Tonight during their live telecasts of several of Hollywood’s Award Shows, including: The 58th Annual Primetime Emmys, 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Independent Spirit Awards, 78th Academy Awards® Nominees Luncheon and the 60th Festival De Cannes Film Festival, Cannes, France.

The list of celebrities who have autographed their own Nicolosi Pop Art portrait during the past  Award Show Seasons in Hollywood reads like a who’s who of tinsel town:
Meryl Streep, Christopher Meloni, Forest Whitaker, Mariska Hargitay, George Clooney, Helen Mirren, Daniel Craig, Penélope Cruz, Kiefer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen, Leonardo Dicaprio, Annette Bening, Martin Sheen, Patrick Dempsey, aka Dr. McDreamy, Conan O’Brien, Stockard Channing, Beyoncé Knowles, Jennifer Hudson, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Brad Pitt, Sacha Baron Cohen, America Ferrera, Eddie Murphy, Jack Nicholson, etc.
Nicolosi’s portraits have contributed to the excitement and incredible glamour of the Festival De Cannes (also referred to as The Cannes Film Festival.) His vibrant, multi-colored portraits capture the magnetic charisma of Hollywood’s most cherished Television and Movie Legends. It was during the Cannes Film Festival when Oscar-Winning actress Helen Mirren personally invited Nicolosi to her suite at the iconic Carlton Hotel in Cannes, where she autographed her own Nicolosi portrait.
