Mallory Lewis — performer, children’s book author and daughter of Shari Lewis — grew
up with the iconic ventriloquist’s signature sidekick Lamb Chop — “she’s my sister” —
and became a writer and producer who worked closely with her mother on TV specials
and children’s shows (“Lamb Chop’s Play-Along,” “The Charlie Horse Music Pizza”)
Since Shari Lewis’ death in 1998, Mallory has kept her mother’s legacy alive…

The Dallas Morning News

Dallas holds good memories — and lots of family — for Mallory Lewis, who will be performing A Lamb Chop Celebration! at the Wyly Theatre on Dec. 15.

This is the city that helped build her confidence when she picked up the puppet that her late mother, Shari Lewis, made famous on television and stage, she says. For that she thanks her cousin, Elya Naxon  …

People Magazine

A few months after Shari Lewis died of uterine cancer in 1998 at age 65, her longtime friend, actor Dom DeLuise, asked her daughter Mallory Tarcher if she had thought about bringing back Lewis’s most beloved creation, Lamb Chop. Her last PBS series before ”The Charlie Horse Music Pizza” was ”Lamb Chop’s Play-Along,” which ran from 1989 to 1995. The show won five Emmys …

The Positive Mom

Be Nice, Have FUN! is Mallory Lewis’ motto. She lives by it as a single mom to her teen son and as a successful mompreneur. I had the opportunity to talk to Mallory Lewis on the phone and I was so excited when she called me that I obviously tweeted about it.

In case you are wondering, that is not a nickname. Mallory Lewis is the daughter of the late entertainer/ventriloquist and Lamb Chop original companion, Shari Lewis…
